Howdy! My name is Andy. I'm a recent graduate from Texas A&M University (WHOOP!) pursuing a career in event management. I started blogging as a way of organizing my thoughts and conversations with God. However, I quickly learned that others are going through the same things as me. We all need encouragement and if God could use me as a vessel to show His love to others I wanted to embrace it! ​
Not Popular is based off of Galatians 1:10 and urges others to strive to do everything for God and not to be popular based on the world's standards. We all are sinners and we all fall short... that too is emphasized in the blogs. However, God loves you. He sent His Son to die on the cross so that you can live FOREVER with Him in peace and harmony and THAT is the purpose of this blog.; to remind you that God is good and that He loves you. I pray this blog will give you the encouragement you need to follow God throughout your life and not just when its convenient.

The Blog
I love having a blog! I really do & being able to encourage people in their faith allows me to praise God in a unique way. I originally started this blog as a personal way to worship God, but I've continued with it because people's faith has been impacted by it. However, having the pressure of writing blog after blog is stressful and doesn't allow me to right the best quality blogs, because I highly believe in quality over quantity the blogs come out once a month on the last Sunday of each month. However, the second Sunday of every month I will highlight an old blog that has significant meaning for me at the moment.
