God has given us a Church for a reason; we all have different roles. When I say Church, I mean many things… your specific denomination, your physical local church, and our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ wherever they may be. God uses each of us in different ways; to spread His Gospel, speak up for those who have no voice, bring comfort to the sick, and encourage the young believers. There are so many ways to bringing the true Word of God to people in our congregation and outside of it. It can be a different approach from regular worship services; games, meals, manual labor, but it glorifies God! Think outside the box. Many people will quickly say no if you invite them to church, but what about if you invited them to a campfire in your backyard, that so happens to be occupied by a lot of friendly people from your church. Take interest in their hobbies, ask questions. By stepping back and focusing on them you are serving God by showing them the love He shows us! God is the God of all and earnestly wants all people to know and love Him. Strengthen your faith by getting to know Him better through His Word, prayer, and community with His believers. Get to know Him more by spending time with the people He has created who might not know Him. We all have different things we are good at, and we can use whatever our gifts, even if just kindness, to serve our one Lord!
1 Corinthians 12:4-6, 12-14 There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone, it is the same God at work… Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body—whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink. Even so the body is not made up of one part but of many.
